Manger consulting began with the idea that people, being equally created in the image of God, have an equal right to belong. We believe that Churches, Schools or Community Organizations should never turn people away because of disability, background, or income. We look to the Manger as a model of inclusion and welcome. To that end we are focused on providing Training, Education, Support and Advocacy to Organizations as well as Individuals.
We know that persons with disabilities are often refused access to many of the social institutions that non-disabled persons take for granted. We know that many parents struggle to navigate the confusing world of human services and often grow weary and frustrated as a result. We know that many foster youth are denied the training and supports they need to succeed once they emancipate. Our goal is to help.
While we do not promise to remove all of the weariness or frustration we do promise to do something about it. In order to accomplish this, we work with Churches, school, group homes, vocational centers and other social/community institutions in order to make them provide better care and to be more welcoming to all.
We work with individuals and families (either through individual consultations or ongoing support) so they can receive the services, access and care that is theirs by right.
