Training, Development & Awareness
Whether you are attempting to address needs already present or looking to become more inclusive as an organization we have a training and/or workshop to meet your needs. If your Church, organization, program or group is looking to begin the steps toward inclusion we can help you organize and conduct initial information meetings or staff trainings. We have conducted trainings and workshops for churches (both large [over 5,000 congregants] and small [under 200], as well as local non-profits and national organizations). Topics include Adoption, Foster Care, Social Services, Disability, Mental Health, Behavior and others with a variety of specific trainings covered under each topic area.
Initial Set-up/Training: Manger Consulting will work with your organization as you seek to develop a clear vision, mission and goals. In addition to working to form a clear understanding of your new organization, ministry or club we will assist in the development of an organizational structure and approach to service in order to get the most from your resources. We will also help train new staff/volunteers in order to further the aims of the organization. Manger Publishing can assist your organization in developing initial staff/volunteer trainings and/or manuals.
Organizational Training Solutions: Manger Consulting offers on-going staff/volunteer training in various areas to help address your Organization’s needs. Topics for staff/volunteer training include: Behavior Planning, Crisis Prevention & Intervention, Disability Awareness, Working with Families, Boundaries in the Workplace, Partnering with Community Resources and others. All trainings can be tailored to meet the specific organization’s goals and objectives including specific trainings for Residential Programs, Independent Living Programs, Supported Employment Programs and Community Day Programs.
Awareness Workshops/Presentations: Making your organization, congregation or group more aware of the many issues in the community can be a daunting task. Manger Consulting will work with your congregation, small group, school, business, class, youth group or club to promote awareness and understanding of various needs in the community. Some topics include, but are not limited to: Disability Awareness, Adoption/Foster Care, Child Abuse, etc. Local information and resources are utilized in all presentation/workshops.
